lyrics
My world is in bloom and then it’s uh-oh
It’s a colorful june and then it’s uh-oh
I’ll just go on kidding myself and I won’t ever have to worry
Everything’s ok, yeah everything everything’s ok, everything’s ok
Everythng for which I care, it turns into squares, when you’re not there
The Pyramids and stars on the map, they all appear flat, it’s kinda like that
And this is my world now where is the curvature
And this is my world now lost in the furniture
Nothing’s worse than the feelings you can’t control
Nothing’s worse than being told that you have to let go
Thinking happy thoughts will fix it uh-oh oh-no
Where did I go wrong I guess I don’t know
I’ll just go on kidding myself and everything will work itself out
Everything’s ok, yeah everything everything’s ok, everything’s ok.
stepdad's one of those bands i found through a random stroke of luck -- back in i think 2017 my best friend and co-camp counselor made me a playlist with marquis marq on it because my camp name was marquis. don't remember any of the other songs on that playlist but i do remember that i was like "oh i've got to hear what else this stepdad band has got" notaroh

My friend introduced me to Kishi Bashi's music in highschool (2013) and ever since then I have shared this album with every close friend I've made. This album sits close to my heart and it's been so great to peel back it's layers over the years. Christina
